The talk of the day
I Need a Holiday:
Everyone is talking about wanting a much-needed holiday. But right now can any of us afford one? Having to watch spending habits at the moment, a holiday for most of us has been far down at the bottom of our to do list. My friend has a rather large jar that she is filling up towards a holiday for next year. But for me I am thinking of this year, after all with all the stress mounting up, a holiday seems like the only remedy. So I have scoured the internet trying to find the best deals. If going abroad I am always careful whom I choose to go with, as I want to know that the holiday I pay for is waiting for me at the other end. It is wise therefore to only consider what you believe to be legitimate sites. If they have no human voice to contact or no real address then I would stay far far away. There are plenty of legitimate sites out there and even if your go through a familiar name like P&O or Eurostar, you are likely to find links to real hotels or travel agents.
I settled in the end to a short 3 day brake in Legoland where I got the full package including all entry fees for 2 kids and 2 adults and accommodation for 2 nights at a 3 star hotel for just £268.00 I have my fingers firmly crossed now that the weather is good but at least the kids can burn off their summer holiday batteries whilst I can recharge mine. And although I may not be saving into a pot for a year, towards a more sizzling holiday, at least I have broken the repetitive drone of such a tiresome year and hopefully created some fun memories for the family.
